For over three decades, Homestead Farm Market has been Lambertville's destination for the season's first pickings — strawberries in May, sweet corn in July, apples in October — and everything in between.

Exterior of Homestead Farm Market on North Main Street

A Lambertville
Tradition

Homestead Farm Market opened its doors in 1989 on North Main Street — just steps from the Delaware & Raritan Canal State Park. What began as a small roadside stand has grown into one of the most trusted names for fresh, local food in Hunterdon County.

We work directly with farmers throughout central New Jersey, which means our shelves reflect the actual rhythm of the seasons: asparagus in April, tomatoes in August, pumpkins in October. When a crop is out of season, we don't fill the gap with imported substitutes — we wait.

That patience is what our neighbors have come to count on. Whether you're a lifelong Lambertville resident or just passing through, we hope you'll stop in, browse the aisles, and taste the difference that real freshness makes.

What's Now

Spring asparagus and radishes
Spring

Asparagus & Radishes

First spears arrive by late April. Sweet, tender, and unlike anything from a warehouse.

Summer strawberries and sweet corn
Summer

Strawberries & Sweet Corn

June berries and July corn — the two flavors that define a New Jersey summer.

Fall apples and heirloom tomatoes
Fall

Apples & Heirlooms

Crisp apples from Hunterdon orchards and late-season tomatoes that still carry the sun.

Winter squash and root vegetables
Winter

Squash & Root Veg

Hardy winter storage crops — butternut, acorn, carrots, and beets — that keep through the cold months.

Homestead is where I go when I want something that actually tastes like food used to. The strawberries in June are unreal, and the people who run the place remember your name.
